If you’ve been around the Island for a while, you probably remember Island Taxis as a pretty massive operation. For over 25 years, we were firmly in the fast lane, running dozens of drivers, all sorts of vehicles, and handling everything from corporate airport contracts to big holiday travel groups.
It was great fun, but a few years ago, we decided it was time to step off the hamster wheel, slow things down a bit, and downsize.
We’ve now settled beautifully into village life here in Kirk Michael. We’ve traded the massive fleet for just three reliable cars, focusing our efforts on our own doorstep and the surrounding local areas.
Even though we’re smaller now, we haven't changed how we do things. You still get the exact same reliability we built our name on over the last quarter of a century.
